Radical Softness is a three-hour somatic dance workshop where we explore movement as a space for curiosity, awareness, and ease. Starting with gentle internal listening and embodied exploration we move into more dynamic guided dance, exploring the intersections between somatic practices and dance.
The workshop is led by two professional dancers and somatic practitioners, certified in the Feldenkrais™ Method and the Ilan Lev Method™. Participants are invited to attune to the body’s intelligence, experiment with play and imagination, and discover how awareness can spark imagination and creative flow. Drawing on somatic practices and improvisational approaches, the work awakens spatial and communicative expression, encouraging participants to explore textures, emotions, and rhythms; expanding through the senses and embodying imagination through attention.
The workshop balances structure and openness, rest and dynamism, precision and play. Participants are supported in moving from sensation rather than form, allowing creativity to arise naturally.
The workshop draws on principles from the Feldenkrais™ Method and the Ilan Lev Method™, alongside improvisational and somatic dance practices. Participants are supported to:
Cultivate embodied awareness and internal listening
Explore movement from sensation rather than habit or form
Experiment with play, imagination, and expressive range
Discover how awareness can open new creative and communicative possibilities
Through individual, partnered, and group explorations, the work awakens spatial and relational expression, encouraging each participant to explore their unique capacities and interests.

Open Clinic
Following the workshop, we will continue with an open space exploring the treatment forms of the Ilan Lev Method™ and the Feldenkrais™ Method.
This session invites participants to explore the more therapeutic, relational, and healing dimensions of the work in an open setting.
Donation Based Participation (pay by Swish at the studio)
Sessions take place in an open studio setting, with treatments happening simultaneously in the same room.
Limited spaces, reserve your spot via booking links below.
Drawing on the idea of embodied resonance (often described through mirror-neuron processes), the session offers a space to sense how perception, empathy, and self-awareness can shift simply through attentive watching. Participants are invited to observe how their internal sensations change while witnessing someone else’s treatment.
You can choose to observe the space through a proposed score or simply sit back and experience it in your own way.
Afterwards, we will open the space for tea and shared conversation about what we just experienced.
These sessions are intended as an accessible way to experience somatic work, especially for those new to these methods. Participation in the open clinic is optional and not required to attend the workshop.
